Budgets and savings goals

A budget puts a ceiling on a category. A savings goal shows you how much is left to save.

1. On Home, tap the “Budgets” card (the first of the two cards with three colored counters), then “Plan budget”.
2. Choose the category, the “Monthly” period and the limit, then tap “Save”.
3. For a goal, tap “Savings goals” on Home, then “Set savings goal”: fill in “Name” and the amount, pick the account where you keep that money (if it's in another currency, change “Currency” first) and tap “Save”.

Ka'i's tip: A goal grows with its account's balance: to add to it, transfer money into that account. A budget counts only its own category, not its subcategories.
