An account in your travel currency

Carrying euros in cash or holding a card in euros? Create an account in that currency and record straight into it, with no conversion.

1. In “Accounts”, tap “Add account”. Without Plus you can have 3 active accounts: if you already do, archive one first (lesson 5).
2. Give it a name, pick the type and, under “Currency”, the account's currency, for example EUR. Enter the opening balance and tap “Save”.
3. When you record an expense, choose that account first: tap the account below the amount, pick it, then enter the amount. It's recorded in its currency.

Ka'i's tip: Choose the currency carefully when you create the account: after the first entry it can't be changed. On Home and in Reports, KaiOro adds everything up in your base currency.
